When you say securing I assume you mean by key? Nearly all bikes (don't know any that don't) only secure the front with bolts and the rear by lock
I fit my own tyres on my track bike. Wouldn't touch the multi bride in/ride out and pay the premium for a pro is my attitude

Nothing wrong with the m1100s in my books. Huge torque, great chassis and enough power! Suspect your 600 may have more power than all of them...
Again mine was similar when battery played up, but I wonder if its because it has actually read it, it senses its close due to the miniclorians,...
