Never an issue on mine but the only way I can get 45mpg is to ride it like its on ice.
Iconic parts do an adaptor plate that will take a givi box. You will just need to buy a bag of the Givi fitting bolts to attach the box too.

The zips on Dainese boots are bizarre. Why don’t they build in a flexible attachment from the zip to the boot? Great boots but the zips are a pain.
Ultimately that is what it is designed for. Touring. If you want a bike just to have fun with, there are better options imho.
Think that is the same for many including me. No idea why Ducati designed it with such a long stretch to the lever.
