chock against the bulk head and strap either side of the frame to the middle tie down holes. Sometimes i put one though the rear wheel just in case
mate ive had my bike in my van with a wheel chock and i just put it on the floor and tie the bike down with 2 ratchet straps and thats it, no need...
yeah the 999 came out in 03 i think, 998 was still made till 04
