Hqving had an 05 blade and an 05 gixer, the blade is easier to ride but the gixer is waaaayyy more fun! I'd imagine it hasnt changed much since
Blade or gixer. Both seem to last well and have loads of cheap parts

Never heard of that. Have changed all sorts of gearing, front down 1 and rear up 2 or 3 and never an issue. Only chain change has been its too...
