Does it stop the pipes getting so hot too? I pulled over on the 999 yesterday to check the bike hadn't caught fire.
Turns out exhaust header pipes get real hot real quick. That's going to leave a man scar.
I think they were just redesigned with longer lead to stop so much crap getting in the front one and causing it to fail. I'd swap as a test....
