Have you a bleeding nipple at the master? Of not you can buy a banjo with a bleeding nipple built in.
So swap the coils and see if it changes to the vertical cylinder. If it does, it's the coil. If it doesn't, buy a thin wall socket and new spark...
Pps, swap the coils, will take under an hour and it will let you know if it's a dodgy coil.
