fix it would be the best bet, ive broken a bike and though its good money its a ball ache!! fix it then sell it.
same boat here!! looked at a new zx10r over the weekend then rode the 1198 again and it just makes me smile soooooo much.
I do get that all the time with my 1198. But then people do say it's nice to see it ridden properly when they see the back tyre shredded.

I use d211's and warmers they seen to last much longer.
I started using tyre warmers mate and don't get any tears any more think it's to do with the heat cycle that buggers um up.
