I've worked on a few xf's now and the petrol ones are far more reliable! ! 3.0 v6 great car. 5.0 v8 amazing car.. 5.0 v8 super charged my favourite.

Speak to mh racing in Chippenham he's an Ohlins dealer. Or ktech they would be able to help.
Ohlins were standard on the sps from 2000 onwards. Price wise there between 10-15k for a good one.

ive used avanti a few times they've got good stuff, and customer service is great, i had a foot peg arrive broke and they replaced it the next day...
