Good point - looks to be 1.5mm although the bolt is quite worn so the threads aren't "sharp" - very blunt....Ill tell him tomorrow although I did...
Just putting a steel rule across it, from the edge of thread to thread it looks almost 2mm so id say yeah, 1.75mm

Nope...pinch bolts didn't quite fit....thread was wrong, length and diameter were right....so it is a "regular" thread as a pose to the finer type...
Ha - whaddaya know....the pinch bolts on the back of the hyper are 55mm, m12, and have the alternative thread....at work at the moment but ill try...
I think - so the bloke at the local stainless place tells me - that sprocket carriers, are the ones to look out for - the pinch bolts on the back...
Well. Went to look at the rehashed version on Friday and I'd say 2mm is good...pliable enough to bend by hand and strong enough to stop something...
