Best thing to do is ring moto rapido or a ducati specialist see what they say.
If it was me bud all I'd do is change the pads for track pads get some proper track tyres and tweek the suspension, remove mirrors .

hi guys just to let you all know its on april the 17th this year up at presscott hill climb, lots of good stuff there including the paddock...
I must admit I'm the world's worst for fiddling with my bikes but the SL is one I would personally leave standard, use the money for a decent set...

buy a 1098/1198 brilliant bikes, do track days and that will stop the speeding worry. then enjoy them on the road at lower speeds, i ride my 1198...
