i went from zx10r to 1198, 600's are still a quick bike though, if it were me again id go 1198, absoulute blast to ride, dont get me wrong 848...

i got them on my 1198 they fit just before the end can onto the Y piece.

yes mate, pressure sensor just unscrews 22mm if i remember correctly and rocker covers have a metal gasket under them, 4 6mm allen head bolts hold...
could be rocker cover gasket, quite common also check oil pressure switch, also a common problem.
bet the 1098rs would be a good one to buy.
