So, do you just whip those 6 bolts off, pull the head, find TDC and stick yer feelers in? Or is there more to it?
There was a slight smudge of oil round it, I assume that would stack up to removal. It looks more like it came off than the horizontal.

Handbook suggests to me to use under 10deg, don't use over 30deg, but does not mention 10-30deg. Not that I've seen any how.
