On the 916 , if you rotated the eccentric hub the wrong way, it raised the wheel, wrt the swing arm, and the wheel would then rub the hugger (...
Sending off a few years back, first of the round world trips with no limits
Did that ( rotate the wrong way) on my 916, couldn't work out for ages why the tyre rubbed on the hugger, before forums and being able to ask for help
