Got you. I was thinking length of pin not the diameter (bang head). There may be wear on the old pin but 0.2mm? Sounds too big to me.

Odd, because DID don't list a 525ERV on their website. Maximum size for an ERV is 520.
0.2mm is only 8 thou, hardly anything. Are the pins of a new rivet link not slightly longer to allow for the head to be peened?
