That's Exactly what I've done ,the clear silicone sealant gives enough hold to keep them in place but will allow removal for bulb...
Where did you get the unit from?....is it really just a case of plugging it into the existing connector, and are the fittings the same as the OE...
I Agree with Mongoose on the above comments...how easy are they to fit ,is it just a matter of plugging into the existing connectors?....electrics...
