Excellent lids, I had the 802 for many years and then bought the 803. Arai and shoei don’t fit me but X-Lite are lovely and comfy.
My 899 is the same and always has been, I even changed the slave to Oberon and it was the same. It’s only a slight drag on mine though.
They made a nice job of that. I think I used some blunt 80 grit to put the brushed effect back on something I did so 120 would probably be fine.

Silly question but have you rode the bike and found you can’t get 3rd gear onwards or have you tried it stationary without the engine running?

Pre chill the beers for the fridge and load it full and you should be fine. That battery equates to a 130ah battery I think, compressor fridges...
Washed the boat, found that the sink drain in the head was leaking so ripped that all apart and fixed it (I think) now drinking a cider.
We went for the X-Trail just for the big boot but we have two Ridgebacks.

I wouldn’t worry too much, my 899 has 34000 mile on it and it’s been fine.
Amazing that it has twin discs on the front, nice looking bike. The stuff from China has come on a lot in the last few year imo.

I scraped off any loose stuff, scotchbrite to give it a key, wipe over with thinners / brake cleaner then painted with PJ1 satin engine and case...
Do you mean the black cover/ insert that surrounds the exhaust outlet hole? If so mine was flaking off so I just repainted it with hi temp black...
