The error code doesn't look to be in the same format as the Ducati codes, but a 1.2 is a short to earth of the TPS. Might be worth a look at the...
The starter is on "servo start" where the ECU keeps turning her over for a set time until it starts. If it's still going after 10 seconds or so...
Could you try mounting the IMU inside the bracket, rather than underneath? The IMU is very sensitive to position and to the angle it's mounted....
Motul 7100 15W/50. Whichever brand you go for, 15W/50 grade is important to the correct operation of the DVT.
A new set is £2500!! so I guess in the scheme of things it's not bad. Only a good price if you need them I guess ;)
They should swap ok. There are differences, like gear ratios etc. but the basic shafts for gearbox are the same. Bearings are the same. 999...

The 600 is carb'd so no ECU. If it is restricted for say A2 then the restrictors are either in, or under the inlet manifolds.
