I would check the inside of the wheel when you change the tyre as that coach bolt may have contacted the wheel in the time it took for you to stop.

Have you got a picture from the manual of the one you mean?
Are you sure you need to remove the flywheel? If it’s the spring I think you mean it's inside the alternator case just above the front sprocket?
