[ATTACH] Fitted Termi today The “instructions” were more of a general idea, found a few guides on the net Sounds ok. Will fill up tomorrow,...
Thank you hopefully the learning curve is starting to tail off slightly
Fair play to you for your perseverance and determination
Update Screen back on, tweaked angle Suspension a lot better, getting the hang of cornering, getting really good mpg high 50’s, probably not...
I would start by connecting wire from battery to fuse out check voltage if the same, connect to fuse in, if the same this rules out lighting...
Some engines are slow to turn over My XDiavel isn’t exactly quick Hatz diesel’s are crazy slow, sounds like the battery is completely shot, but...
You could connect to the relay input and output likewise fuse Removal of existing wire is irrelevant as is if it’s ok there would be no change in...
Did you find the voltage drop Imho if left it certainly won’t get better
From diagram c,d,e,f fed from same contact on ignition relay, if fuse c checks out so this would be the next place to look
Hopefully you will be able to rule out lighting cct Then do same with ign relay, connect battery +ve to “output”if ok, connect battery +ve to “input”
Next on the list (for me) would be check ignition relay
Ok it’s not obvious where the translogic gets its feed from I would place a feed direct from battery to fuse c (output) check voltage at bulb...
Agree with comments above,I think that you are doing well for someone with limited electrical experience
I am guessing feed to translogic is same as feed to bulb Don’t have a cct diagram myself I would be looking at the diagram to find feeds to bulb...
I am sure you will get there As a rule I tend to “start in the middle of the cct”, this cuts the problem in half
Forgot to add Measure voltages with light off and on, a dropping voltage (with light on) will indicate where the problem is (poor connection...
Then if as you say a separate earth was connected directly between the battery and the bulb earth (-ve) it looks like the issue is on the supply...
And where was meter -ve connected Should be battery negative terminal as this is “reference”
Ok What was battery voltage at this time
This is what i would start with If you have some 2.5mm or 4mm wire connect between battery -ve and main beam earth then switch on light, measure...
