i phoned dvsa on this very matter about hid bulbs in older bikes they told me to pass any bike as long as it had the correct beam pattern visable...
A ‘light source’ means any bulb, LED or other means of emitting light. this is straight out of the manual, so does this not cover hid bulbs??

right ive actually bought this subject up with dvsa as i get quite a few older bikes in with hid conversions, but in the paragraph above the hid...
think they have the imobilizer in the key
i actually made an offer on this bike couple of years ago with the intension of turning it into a race/track bike. he said no :blush:

carbon wheels have now been sold off the bike so in now asking £6000 with all the other kit on there. :upyeah:
