Respect to your Dad Clarkey, an inspiration to those of us who aren't young any more! I'm not as old as him (quite!) but still ride an 1198S and...
Thanks!
Hi Mister - can you give a link to the YT channel?
OK, cheers.
Thought you were selling it piece by piece! Will you be listing any body panels?
Part 2 is on this Friday.
Mine does that sometimes, only from idle - never had it happen when riding along. Thankfully. Interested to hear if there is an issue.
+1
These days it's one car (bike) one race (except for the TT)...
Quite agree with this. I have an 851 SP3 and an 1198S. Relatively speaking, the SP3 is much more solidly put together - probably the most...
You presumably have a relatively new machine - nothing like that on my 851 SP3, wasn't on my 916...
Agreed, but some (Shazaam for example) suggest leaving one permanently attached (and mounted near the dash) so you can see charging voltages etc...
I believe the Lascar EMV1200 (which is similar) draws about 3mA - not zero, but it'll take a while to flatten a battery?
Been a while since part 4 - bigger job than they expected???
Hopefully without the injuries...
I suspect I'll have to take your word for that!
OK, thanks. Prefer the dark one personally.
Indeed! I see the dash on the bike Rutter is riding has a dark dash, wheres the bike in the "old boy" (not?) video is light - is it switchable?
OK, I'm confused... Who's riding the bike in the vid the OP put up - "old but fast" or AC???
Not that close - 67% in favour on a national turnout of 64%.
