Ok ok I will, calm down now. I’m busy discovering jazz too. Don’t know about my daughter. She’s keeping an eye on the thread and listening when she can.
How about some approachable prog rock? It doesn’t have to be difficult. 1. Firth of Fifth – Genesis (almost anything by Genesis would do - The Lamb can be listened to all the way through and is a double album) 2. Pandora’s Box – Procol Harum 3. Children of the Universe – Flash 4. Red – King Crimson 5. The Land of Grey & Pink – Caravan 6. Yours Is No Disgrace – Yes 7. Life on the Road – Man 8. Hide in Your Shell – Supertramp 9. The Boys In The Band – Gentle Giant 10. Stranded – Dave Stewart Ideal to listen to after lunch on Sunday.

One of the down sides of modern music formats for me is not having any information about albums. Almost annoying with someone like Jools Holland who has a few guests on his albums. Often listen to some of his and wonder who the vocalist or other musicians are.
Worse than that, often some of the best tracks were hidden away on albums. They would rarely if ever get air time..hence not discovered.
S'more! Love Is The Answer - Utopia Take Your Whisky Home - Van Halen Bitter Sweet Symphony - The Verve Dance Hall Days - Wang Chung You And Me Song - The Wannadies Werewolves Of London - Warren Zevon The Whole Of The Moon - The Waterboys Baba O'Riley - The Who Sometime World - Wishbone Ash Heroin She Said - Wolfsheim Incredibly hard to choose Sometime World over Time Was, and vice versa. The Who present similar problems.
