Update on the streetfighter stand ive bought from the USA, Went to fit it to my 888 and tbh not worth the bother, when mounted the stand interferes with the left hand exhaust link pipe, Its not something that could be altered because theres massive interference and to get it to clear the stand is sitting way down, So anyone looking for a very low milage streetfighter 1098s stand ive this one for sale, link to where I bought it so you can see photos, Ive paid well over £100 after customs etc is added, Pretty hard to get hold of these, Be great for the 9** series bikes Stand I bought link https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222790952837
I fitted a 848 stand to my 916. It doesn't matter if you buy a 848, 1098 or 1198 stand, they are all a direct swap and a massive improvement. Bought mine from a private seller, used and slightly scraped for 30 euro. Little bit of grinding and polishing and its like new now and only for a couple of euros.
