  1. That's bloody nice.
    I'd leave it as is,maybe add a black 'Ducati' decal each side.

  2. Maybe I would on a track bike and do something with the rest of the bodywork to match, but I think it would look too "unfinished" on my R. A bit like this........

  3. Or maybe add a little red at the bottom of the tank, I think that would look a lot more finished. A bit like the images below (but red obviously).

  7. Well, like London buses (except this one is in Deutschland :thinkingface:), you wait months for an alloy 1098 fuel tank to turn up and then another appears within days.

    It's a standard 18L tank from the SP. Someone may grab a bargain. :)

  11. Apparently, the one I have just bought is 22L. Beater do 2 sizes on their website. The SP is 18L

  15. Not yet, I've been photoshopping it a bit, but as I'll only get one shot at it I want to make sure I like it.

    I'd like it mainly red with a bit of ally showing but some white with a gold pinstripe in keeping with the 1098R.

    I'll keep sketching :)

  16. I got in contact with my painter friend today about painting this as I'm 90% certain in my head what I want now. o_O His words were, "Yep, I like a challenge" :laughing: Let's hope I've made the right decision. :sweat:
