1198 wheel spin

  1. I'm using an iPad right now, and it is possible, just not through safari.

Download an app called tapatalk, it allows pictures to be uploaded and makes browsing the forum really easy, there is still some stuff you can't do but for that just jump back into safari.

That's what I do all the time......on an iPad with a camera or iPhone you can even upload photo's directly from the camera.

  2. I've reached my pic limit on this forum, so am using Photobucket now, which works really well. Haven't tried with an iPad - does that work?

  3. I'll try.....

I have a subscription here so have loads of space, but you can also host your picture on tapatalk, which is where I post some too.

Not directly.....but there is a free photo bucket app that allows you to do it.

  6. Just in case you missed it Rob has now doubled your photo storage space right here! :upyeah:

  7. If the system was on 8 showing but actually on 1 I'd guess you would get a fair amount of wheelspin with the roads the way they have been. So no your system wasnt working correctly, at least its sorted now :upyeah:

The old style Numpty I had would spin the rear if you gave it fistfulls even in a straight line if it wasnt dry and the tyre was a little cold because of all that low down torqu, which the 1198 has way more than anything else probably out there..almost

  8. Many thanks for the compliment.

  9. OMG not only from talented, experienced rider but also a Brit. Think of it what you want, for me it is quite clear: How was your first MotoGP experience?
It was hard but fun and definitely more than I expected. The main problem was the speed at the end of the straight, that was the hardest thing for me. I wasn´t expecting it to be so fast and here at the end of the straight over the crest when it´s trying to wheelie, that was another problem.
Some things were easier, like the cornering, but it was harder to hold on to it in some places and harder to find the time in other places because obviously with the traction control you´re more limited, so it´s more about how you ride the bike to get around the traction control. That´s what I found the hardest thing.

  10. reading this thread reminds me of those american forums.....grr.

anyhows, when i bought my old sp1 i managed to destroy the back tyre in about 600 miles mainly due to wheelspin.tather than try setting up a crap shock i bought an ohlins replacement set it up and problem sorted.

  11. Still missing the point eh...the OP was asking if (I remember correctly) whether peolpe thought his was broke. It was.

    The End

  12. Yes and suggestion to switch off and go for a ride would establish the answer instead ....

  13. Exactly !!!

  14. I wish I could spin the feking back wheel  the only thing I manage to spin is the Ducati key ring round my finger

  15. No, you suggested he shouldnt have it, no one should and anyone who did couldn't ride properly. And if thats not what you intended, I'd bet a night with my mum thats what 90% of the people reading it established from your answer.

Why do you keep commg back to it?! The only person I've ever called a troll was the bird in the office that donkeys ran from but you are coming across as a troll

  16. It's easy just pull the throttle back till it stops :)
