  2. moving to the track : we have to get there, don't we?

the idea is to get to tracks in Europe so some miles lay ahead. In the mean time a friend of mine is setting up a Ducati classic and repair effort and was struggeling to get the bikes around in his VITO... so i'll give him a hand and now he'll be able to move 4 bikes at a time in comfort. and it will get me everywhere in safety...

Switching to slicks will mean some tire changing and tracking will require some on the spot maintenance. I also want to get into the tech of things. so had to add some tools i dont have.. like a trolly and some torquewrenches .. this is what i got for the moment.. an aircompressor and Michelin approved gage are on the list

  3. Kope, just need some of these now and your track outfit will be complete!!:upyeah:

  4. they can't get to 300nm torque! :)

    even though probably just rental,
no budget left for that... :)

  5. Well they certainly can come and torque up my nuts

  6. its time for the mods to step in...

personally i think its unacceptable when the parts bin is more pornograpic than a couple of super hot ducati babes with shoe laces up their butt cracks...

fair play kope..this is the bike that ducati should've built..which is always a step in the right direction when kitchen-sinking a special...great thread mate.

  7. I've just seen this thread, where the fuck have I been. What a wank-fest, loving it kope, the paint job, the parts, sublime.

  11. that is nice dash support and air intakes.
    i love those carbon parts.

    henk!!!

  12. She needs Titanium. Lots of it

  13. bolts and axle nuts are on their way :)

  14. oh dear! :) alreday ordered the bolts. they're coming... from Pro bolt.. what are yours?
the supporting seat is on the "nice to have" list for next year. .. any pics available? i found them in Germany and Italy.. but there unknowns as to max weight of the rider... :(

the conversion is Bursi and they have a self supporting seat.. :)

  15. Bolts are from a small italian manufacturer. Bursi sells the conversions, they don't make it.. I was looking at the Bursi seat, so far I've only seen grey-primed mock-ups, not the real deal.

  16. the titanium bits look great.. but quit up the price scale, no?
I'm sort of hitting the budget sealing for the moment so i'm skipping on some things for the moment.. waiting to what the finale bill will be as labour and some parts are still an unknown...

tx for showing though .: I'm amazed i didn't see you guys earlier..

one thing i am looking for though is a 1098RS front sized axle.. :)

  17. Yep, I agree I can't compete with Probolt on the single items (even if I'm not far off on most items) yet but obviously prices depends on order size etc. Check out the Magnesium sprocket carrier in the CNC section. Re front spindle if you have one my guy can make a copy.

  18. Confession; love the titanium stuff and money no objet I'd change every bolt and rod I could for them
