got confirmation today that the vertical head has been replaced along with the coolant. So, the bad news is that the bike had a porous head, but the good news is that it's already been replaced! Happy days!
Well, I'm planning to collect the bike on Thursday or Friday, depending on when my contract finishes! Really can't wait! First job is to get trained in the electrickery, then off to ProTwins for Rob to twiddle with the suspesion and Guy to Ventureshield it. Very excited!

what do u mean main bearing issues ? - whats the story ? (none of us had this so far, would be interesting to hear).
makes a whooshing noise when you rev it. I guess they won't know the full story until they strip it down and by then, I'll be on something else. The dealer is adamant that the bearings have gone so they can't sell it to me. Really sad : (
also, when the original supplying dealer (not the guys selling to me) did the coolant recall, they put the wrong coolant in. Or, didn't do the job at all, so the new heads that were fitted are just as compromised as any 11 plate bike. Not the bike for me.
