For Sale 1982 Rm 250

  1. Hey dudes/dudettes,
    I'm looking to sell the rm.
    Unfortunately I can't post pics just yet but will sort this soon if I can.
    Anyhu, as said it's a 82 250 which I'm pretty sure is the first water cooled rm250 and the last of the drum brakes so it goes like fuck but don't stop!
    Well it will when it's restored.
    It IS in need of a full resto if you want mint but could probably be a fun hack for not too much money if that was more ya thing.
    It did run 6 years back? When I bought it and the engine still turns over on the kick start . It needs a few bits, plastics and seat for a start. Although seat base is there, there is no stuffing or cover. Needs clutch cable and a really good tidy up but would be a great resto project or a good base for something like a blue smoke supermoto...
    I'm wanting £500 for it. This is based on what I have been offered in the past and the fact that it's quite a rare model.
    Most of the panels and a lot of the bits needed are available repro.
    Pics to follow as soon as poss but please feel free to asks questions and/or come and view if it is of interest.

    Wonderful bikes , real lookers for their age. No not for the age but in general.
    The time when real men rode Mx bikes!

    depending on its conditions that a very fair price .

  12. I am , but I had an 82 when I was younger .. this nostalgia thing is expensive
    Looks like i have buyers for 3 of the Hondas , so why not
