had i thought about it i would of. those feckers will drink anything. cant be any worse than a pint of mild ffs.
Is Tan-hill inn apart of this person pub-chain? I occasionally venture the wilds of the dales for a pint there..
Don't think so - he has several in central London though. All his pubs have no brewery names on them anymore, just pub signs due to an argument with the council rates people. He is a billionaire (owned a lot of the east end and sold it for Canary Warf to be built) but won't have a company car due to the benefit in kind tax so has a pool car at work and walks - he's a nutter
There is a place in Essex not far from Clacton called Great Bentley and every Wednesday in the summer, there is a bike night, you could say a meet but it always has a good turn out Out of season and on a normal day the village has two shops and a pub, it used to have two pubs but lack of locals use meant one pub had to close. There is no doubt in the summer that bikers spend so much at the pub, shop and local petrol stations, that these facilities remain open all year round for the residents of this sleepy hollow that would other wise close
I dont drink really anymore anyway and would've preferred the Intrepid Fox Wardour St as that was our local in the 80's/90's. Soho is too tidy these days. Its lost its seedy charm.
That was always full of old punks / goths and NME writers... agree though, Soho has lost what it had. ...and not just Sebastian.
Yep, best mate and I were weirdo's. Kinda psychobilly scooterist types. We'd rock out of there and into the 100 club for some northern soul. Looking odd as fuck. Happy days. Loved the Fox.
