  1. Chop the connector out mate and solder the wires together. One less thing to worry about then.

  2. That’s the plan mate. No idea how it’s got so hot! I changed all of the plugs out when I had the bike apart as well.

    Hopefully I’ll be able to pick up a new reg/rec from ProTwins and get back on the road again :upyeah:
     
  3. Have you got a Mosfet one on, Tel? I picked a Diavel / Panigale one up cheap off eBay and not had any problems with it.

  5. I’ve just got a bog standard one on at the moment mate. Pain in the arse is that I was relying on using then bike this week for work.

    I’ll see if I can get hold of a Mosfet one with plugs

  6. Is it the reg/rec that has caused the overheating of the plug or a loose connection, the reg/rec might be ok, if it was the reg/rec, was it overcharging to cause the heated plug, if it was not charging how did it overheat the plug. Just thinking out aloud.
