2 of the wires are redundant. One of the connectors, either the male or female may just have 6 wires? Heated grips run off a separate connector.
Cheers, yes the harness has 6 wires. Any idea why they would fit an 8 wire aps? Looks like that would be on a multi with 3 variable resistors in the unit
The APS is likely also used in other applications. It is possible that only a single TPS is required and that the TPS only requires supply voltage, ground and signal. Other applications may require two TPS and the other two wires would be used for supply voltage and signal. Ground would be shared. The other wires control the Ride by wire.
