I believe that if England improve the kicking game they are in with a shout. In the last two games they have been poor at this part of their play.
There's your or their incentive straightaway, but for me unpick Dupont which won't be easy and they could possibly win.
The last couple crunches in Twickenham were extremely close calls, if you remember… One of which during the COVID induced « automn cup », with a French side totally new, young and inexperimented… So today is the day when it could definitely happen. As far as the out of shape/luck English kicker, he will start on the bench this time… I personally don’t watch the Arlequins games, and hear M. Smith is a young prodigy. Well, he has not impressed me at all playing with Le 15 de la Rose so far… He looks too nervous. And his hair is too long. Makes him look like a rooster on speed, when he runs all around the place.
Is this an egg all thread, all this talk of kicking the ball leads me to believe that finally Rugby realises that kicking the ball is the way forward in both senses of the word and will merge with that there actual football.
Well so far comical handling errors and decision making is very poor from the Italians, it could be a long afternon.
Still, the Italians played so fast! When/if they stop fumbling their passes, they could be phenomenal. It’s good for Wales, though. Very reassuring.
I always find watching the England team very frustrating every year at the six nations competition, and today is one of those matches, with not protecting the ball, too loose play for me. If i was the headcoach i wouldn't feed them for week, that would make them more hungry for a win...surely. The French team on the other hand are in complete control and ready for the world cup later this year.
The French are great aren’t they. I’ve been on holiday there far more times than in England, that might make me more French than English which on reflection makes me happier.
What a game by France, fantastic play, England fought hard but it just wasn't enough. Unlucky guys but allez les bleus.
Forget about the wooden spoon award, what about a Pants award for the Brits, also at home in Twickenham what's going on with us considering we beat New Zealand back in 2019.
