2025 Motogp Round 2 - Termas De Rio Honda - Argentina (spoilers)

  1. I think it’s going to take pecco as long to win a race this season as it did 93 last year. Needs to get his head around *the situation and maybe not overthink things too much
I also wouldn’t be looking at MMs data and just do his own thing if i were him lol but i suspect that’s where the problem will always lie now.

  2. Ha what he said

  3. Given what I read on here that Cal said about MM93s Honda data, I’d be inclined to agree and do my own thing if I were FB63.

Although the racing is virtually non-existent and processional (so far), I have to say I admire MM93. He could have just walked away claiming the injury was too much or somesuch, and enjoy his millions. But he took a pay cut to have a chance at winning again (which was what clearly mattered most to him) and it paid off.

I know a lot of folk don't like him and maybe there’s a reason. I’m aware of the spat with VR46 but IMHO he was a ruthless as anyone so I’m not sure if it comes from that. Perhaps the risky riding? I’m a relative newcomer to MGP having watched BSB first and then also WSB until the last couple of years so maybe I missed something.

  4. I wonder if Dall'Ignia regrets signing Marc Marquez to the factory Ducati team ?

    Carmelo Ezpaleta probably does.

Maybe Marc Marquez will phone in sick on race day, or he mises the race because his bike won't start.:D

He has to be stopped from starting on the front row if possible, then he could get tangled up trying to work to the front - we know he can be a bit keen, so he might - get tangled up.

For now he gets to pole position, has a pretend race with his brother and then takes the win. As a start we have to hope that he can be prevented from being on pole position.

  5. I doubt very much Gigi has any regrets. Why would he? They’ll dominate and sell even more bikes.

  6. Gigi will be the happiest man in MotoGP after signing Marc. His on and off track persona is the best of any rider in the paddock and sells the brand.
Personally, I love to watch him race and dominate as I know I'm watching the best rider to ever throw a leg over a MotoGP bike make a field of 12 world champions look like track day riders. Crutchlow and Carchedi knew what was coming once he got on a factory Ducati.
If the rest cant touch him on track, to quote Mick Doohan when he dominated 'what do you want me to do , slow down?'
Of course there will be closer races as the season develops , as long as all riders stay fit and healthy, or the GP24.9 gets its upgrades at Jerez and disappear into the distance.

  7. Maybe reading too much into it. I suppose the MotoGP Crown is Ducati's to loose, so they want to make sure they have the best rider to ensure they remain on top. Maybe better to have Marquez riding a Ducati than have him chasing you on something else.

I just get the feeling that we are missing something - and Marc Marquez being on a factory Ducati is the reason for that. If Jorge Martin had taken his No 1 plate to Ducati and Marc Marquez had stuck is No 93 on the Aprilia - that would be a Championship to watch !

But it is what it is.....
