Good choice ! Honestly, I prefer the white/black/red scheme from 2022, but the bike is still gorgeous. It also feels so nimble for such a big bike. Enjoy !
Can’t wait, it arrives on Friday and then the laborious task of running in begins. insurance was a bit of a shock, but all down to value, and I’m quite used to it as I drive a Range Rover
Had mine a couple of weeks now, the difference from a V4S to this is quite visible. You can really through the PP around on B-roads where the V4S felt like a oil tanker on the turns, just didn’t want to turn also a bit more peppy on the throttle, has a bit more get up and go
Yes, full system fitted. Be rude not to. Had one on the old bike as well, didn’t sound as fruity as this though
Out of interest , what tyres were you running on the V4s as I have no issued chucking its around the B roads and the Euro mountains , just change my pegs after each trip lol.
Still go with the Rosso IV and no real complains. To get the pegs to the ground is of course possible ... but on B-roads . By chance ... have you checked the sag of the bikes suspension? or tried to ride with '2 riders plus baggage' setup? I left everything on normal (my weight is about 80kg including everything), set it to rider only, brought the tires to the edge and still very seldom that the peg scrapes the ground. Ok, I'm moving on the bike if it is, say, necessary
First ride completed and here’s a mini comparison and conclusion. 2022 V4s (std exhaust) vs 2025 PP (race exhaust) PP is definitely more agile corner to corner, V4s is slightly more comfortable over rough road surfaces. PP brakes are very strong and almost too sharp, V4s brakes were sometimes a little soft but never failed to do what was asked of them. V4s screen works really well, particularly the slightly higher touring one. PP screen stops a few flies. PP engine response and quick shift is improved and feels quicker. V4s seat is softer and more comfortable. PP narrower bars work beautifully. 17,17 wheels with Rossi 4 offer noticeably more traction than 19,17 Scorpions For me V4s is for (very) fast touring and British roads. Probably the best bike out there. (Being sensible) PP is probably a step too far for British Roads “AND I LOVE IT”
You must be local to me, Kidderminster, I did see a 25 PP the other day, may have been Hagley way, can’t remember, think with that helmet too!
Amblecote, but couldn’t have been me, first time out on it today. Prior V4s White / wire wheels Are there any localish Ducati meet ups or do we start our own ?
