Hey, thanks for the input and ideas. My next is the fuel pressure regulator, I’ll have that for the weekend, theory there being that gets really hot in the bottom of the fuel tank next to the exhaust, if it’s been low on fuel when it’s conked out, filling it with fuel fixes it, theory again is that it’s getting cooled by the new cold fuel. Worth a try anyway. Next on my radar is indeed the ecu, guessing I can swap that out with an identical unit with no programming issues? A funny note, whilst out on Sunday the gear lever return spring broke, great fun explaining to her how to ride it by lifting the lever with her toe. She mastered it! 30 miles later she lost the clutch, all the fluid had leaked out of the slave……. She gave up and rode my Elefant for the first time with one toe on the ground, such fun. This believe it or not is a very well looked after bike.
