  6. I think you mean the black one and the white one on the underside of the tank. Not the male part clipped to the fuel lines. I know what you meant :upyeah:

  13. This is what you need, it’s 10x better than WD40. It’s usually stocked in a motor factors, not Halfords or B&Q or any motorcycle dealer. Or make your own from 50/50 acetone & diesel.

    FYI my exhaust heat shield was corroded as well, one bolt came out easily, the bottom one, but the top one was a bit more difficult. Not sprocket difficult mind you.

    I also had to cut through one of the pillion foot rest bolts (which is still stuck inside the nut in the frame and has buggered up one of my Teng Tools bolt extractors:mad:) and cut through one of the small bolts that held the CF hugger/chain guard in place; ended up having to drill that fecker outo_O. Oh, and the white thingies that hold the front mudguard on had to be hacksawed off:worried:.

    Anyway, it’s all good now :upyeah::)
