848 Intermittent Flashing Dash And Head Light

  1. Potentially, but I can't see any sidestand wire and the 3 cables plugged into the connector have been cut.

    I can't see the diagnostic cable in the pic.

  2. I'd check that the engine cuts out if you put it in gear with the sidestand down. Dangerous if not!!

  3. Another trip to the dealers tomorrow then for one of those! Was looking to get my stand powder coated black as it looks pretty cheap at the moment.

    Nope side stand down and it doesn't cut out 100%

    Ps, yours looks clean, very clean!

  4. Mate, plenty of those stand switches on eBay. I got one cheap the other day. Think I paid about £15.

  5. There you go then. Whoever has bypassed that wants shooting with sh*t. Very dangerous and a real bodge job.

    You may have found the culprit of your bike cutting out problem.

  6. Did you find the fault with the dash backlight and headlight flickering on and off?
