See if there is any lateral movement by pulling the flywheel up and down, any movement could be the sign of a bearing either going or having already gone if it is fairly obvious movement. Just get out and ride and enjoy your bikes. Shit happens in life sometimes. With the number of bikes out there, you will get some failures but equally its a long way from being a very common occurrence. One thing i was told a long time ago was never to let an engine labour in too high a gear which is too easy to do on a torquey twin. Its supposedly not good for the main bearings.
