Thats a lovely looking 888 and at a very reasonable price if you are in the market for one. ProTwins had an original still-in-the-crate SP5 at one point. Lord knows what that sold for.
I’m utterly bewildered it’s not sold, just waiting on booty to spaff a quarter of his savings on it to be honest.
I think most people would want other motorcycle in their stable, but like me they just don't want to splash the cash.
Would look great if standard at the factory and not a full rebuild. BMW did exactly the same with its change to Eco friendly, read cheaper engine paint in the 90,s. The 888 is cheap compared with some so called classics. Still a superb bike and right price now is no future loss. If I had 20 years left of riding it would be in my garage!
ooooh now that's laying down a challenge, I know of one on here, has to be 20 years - more of a slowly developed hybrid though..
