I am in the process of refurbing my 1993 900 SS - there is evidence of the exhaust cans having lightly rubbed on the swinging arm on both sides, nothing major. They were bolted to the hangers solidly with what looks like a home made ally spacer- part 16 in diagram above is missing ( "rubber dampener" ) probably why the cans fit too close to the s/arm. Anybody had the same problem? Any idea where I can source suitable replacements or alternatives? Would be great if somebody could measure the distance between the can bracket and the hanger with all the correct parts in place. Enjoying my lockdown project!
