Thanks Kevin appreciate it. A White project is the main one I'm after for originality, the one Kevin put up would have to be cheaper then that for me as not original to take it on and then it would be painted white and decals changed, brake, clutch masters changed etc but having said all that i might end up going down that route
@Kevin Tallant You have now got me on Goggle looking for a white frame photo with later decals on so i can see how it looks
I'd go for it, powder coat frame white, 944cc kit, 41mm flatsides, black carbon wheelsand make a100bhp at rear wheel air cooled monster of a machine!!
If my superlight ever needs the cases splitting I'm going to go the hole hog in performance upgrades.
I think your correct its in Italy, I messaged that seller of the 900ss you posted through a mate who as Facebook as i don't have it and he answered my questions and several photos of the fairings and petrol tank chips and dents its 36k miles not 36km and not one piece of service/receipts history,
Had a busy day today Will start with easy start very briefly so work to do, I’m on holiday this weekend so will start a thread when home, are they Termi or just stickers.
AFAIK they are not official termis as they have straps, they could be termis adapted to fit or as you say another brand with stickers. Genuine termis for the SS have a triangular mounting plate that is bolted to the can and then this plate is bolted to the footrest hanger. these are hi-level, but I have low level ones too, and they also have the elongated triangle piece. Cheers Grant
Those cans are identical to mine. They were on my first '93 900SS when I bought it 2nd hand from a lad in Ashby de la Zouch. The bill for them from Moto Cinelli was in with the rest of the paperwork that I got. They were just called F1 exhaust cans and were £350.00.
