Greetings all. I have a 916 SPS (1997) Im looking for the DUCATI RACING tachometer that works with the P8 ECU. Does anybody have a new/old stock or mint/very good working condition one?. I have been trying all the usual places but with no joy. Part numbers:40020081A complete clocks / 40240061A tachometer Please post a picture up (your clocks) if you have the same bike and then i know what to look out for. i only want to deal with the UK ONLY! Thanks
Welcome. Nice bike. I spent ages looking for a P8 compatible tacho. Ended up repairing my damaged one. Your tyre has some kind of nasty lurgy!
The bike has been parked up for years in a brick build garage! I don't have the original one and it's one of two specials built by PT in 1999
Not sure if I have one TBH. I can take a look next week when I get back in the workshop. Hens teeth springs to mind. Not sure if they're available new? But again, I can check.
You are looking for one like this then? Sorry this one is not for sale,have it in my 888. There is also a rev counter from a laverda who works with a P8 ecu. But you gonna have to change the dial plate. Henk!!!
It's the real deal the first owner had the work carried out in 1999 I did at the time but it was a no, only a new corse one
ok will think about it it has a few extras at the time of the build in 1999 not available new but maybe new old stock around? they said no! stock bike with lots of extras! ask the first owner/protwins?
