Ive always liked the style of the old 3 spoke 916 wheels. Are they interchangeable with the 5 spoke Marchesini wheels on the later 996. Would they fit 996 Showa and Ohlins SPS forks..?
There are two different rear wheel sizes. The earlier 3 spokes are 1/2 inch narrower than the later three spokes.
Personally I would go with a well known brand as you will only pay slightly more for them such as Skf Koyo Nsk These are just brands that I know and there are likely lots of good ones I haven't listed.
