944cc Big Bore Bit - Bhp?

  2. Just had a look at my old Dyno sheets and to be fair the 73Bhp & 56lb of torque claimed by Ducati at the time was spot on - Rear wheel.
    I did several stages of tuning:
    1. End cans, K&N, Dyno jet - 75Bhp, 60lb
    2. Plus Arias Hi-Comp Pistons - 82Bhp, 64lb
    3. Plus lightened flywheel - 82Bhp, 66lb
    4. Plus 39mm FCR - 85Bhp, 66lb
    5. Then CJS Blueprinted motor, 944 kit, fas flowed, Full Silmotor system, lightened engine components - 90Bhp, 70lb
    Thats as far as I went with the 2 valver, decided to then fit ST3 engine.

  3. Yeah Ducati quoted rear wheel figures until (I believe @Exige said same) 2004.
