Anyone done the above as currently have fairings off replacing battery and fitting a healtec servo eliminator and seen the videos for the 1199 but the 959 has an electric valve plumbed inline . I know small pipe is a drain from tank and that you blank the bigger pipe but will it cause a fi light to come on as it has an electric valve in that pipe ? Tia
As in left the wiring plugged in and blanked pipe as in the 1199 video ? Waa thinking same but thought it would bring a light on as valve wont see a flow
Yep I just left the valve plugged into the loom and blanked the pipe. If you remove the valve you have to get a blanking plug or you will get a check engine light but if you leave it in place nothing happens.
The warning light will come on if you unplug the valve. Two options, buy the delete plug (which is just a resistor) or better option, get someone to switch off all the Euro bollox and a re map.
