996 996r Accident Damaged.

This is one of the first series 996R testastretta bikes. The cylinderheads are slightly different on these bikes.
With shorter studs and different boltings on each side of the cylinderhead.
The second series had the cylinderhead types as used on the 998 and 999 series.

 

Thats a great project for a hobby and not investment. The best kind.

 

Yes understand, dont need to be obsessive with it just build it to ride hard, like a rifle with dents better with dents because you dont have to worry about paint chips just ride it, and enjoy your outcome; my favorite bikes are not the perfect ones
