I was using Ad-Block so the bloody Chinese tarts and Dating Ads didn't keep cropping up...............the Ducati related ones were still in view without any alteration to Ad-Block preferences, which I didn't mind. However, I didn't ever read any adverts, I was just p*ssed off with Wah Fat So and her mates grinning at me every time I logged on. The new Pop-up banner telling me I had Ad-Block running was annoying and IMO, unecessary (unless Rob was/is getting a rake off from the Chinese tarts )......the new banner is tolerable.

If you're not making enough money to cover costs from those that subscribe, the adverts that are on the site and the money you get from paid advertisers on the site, such as Carbon King, then you need to look again at your business model...
We pay thousands of pounds for overpriced Ducati motorcycles and we are having a big debate about a few adds or a few quid to dispense with them. Laugh is most probably spend more time on this forum than they do on their bikes. Pay a few quid or put up with the adds....thats my tuppence worth............I'll donate once you have the price sorted.
That's a Google PR piece by their director of ad engineering. I stand by my comment that the risk of getting malware from a Google ad is low.

Apparently I'm using an adblocker plug-in... ... I'm not using an adblocker plug-in. Probably my hosts config and DNS.
I was happy to see that sense almost prevailed, then I remembered you were also responsible for another forum so I just checked (The CBR1000RR Fireblade Forum) and sure enough no Ad Block pop up no banner telling me I'm running ad blocker and no mention of trying to charge Honda pricks, something not quite right going on here, I was ready to contribute but not a chance now
What? That forum runs on old software that has not been updated in years. It doesn't even have the capability of detecting it. But thanks for your honest, blunt feedback. Seems you are extremely offended. Lighten up.
