Insurance is the big one, people buy a van, run it on a commercial vehicle policy which is for your own use privately then just go move things, some get the cheapest possible goods in transit cover and tell everyone they are fully insured, which is horseshit, as no payout will be made if you have no removal insurance (hire and reward business insurance) basically 6 points fines the lot plus your vehicle will be inpounded with goods in it, it's like the fast food delivery lot they all need business insurance but rarely do.
yip, many have been burned by thinking the cheapest is the best. can you imagine trusting yer family air looms or pride and joy to some fly by night?. if i lived in the leeds area i would use this guy
I hate to say but in your photo of inside the back of your van, there appears to be a ne er do well loitering!
You want to appear on the google map in as many places you operate as possible. So when you type removals into google maps your business pops up. Try centering over your home address and typing it in, see what you get.
This. And share lots of updates where you can. ‘Today’s job: moving a 9’ polar bear. On,y across town, not to the Arctic! #nojobtoobig ‘ type stuff
