Alfa Romeo Appreciation Thread

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by XH558, Sep 1, 2024.

  1. 20240831_095010[1].jpg Ok folks we all get spellbinding moments when any of the above brand is driving passed us or parked up on the roadside or at a motor car event. Just add photographs to this thread when you see something that captures your thoughts.

  6. Cousin lent me his Alfa Sud for the day when I was about 18 or 19. Loved it, fast as a fast thing. I’ve never owned an Alfa tho, maybe I should

  7. My brother had an Alfa sud, I used to love sitting in the passenger seat watching the road go by under my feet.

  8. I gather the Alfa on the left is quite rare. Visited Vindolanda last year.

  13. Sadly not, my last Alfa was a 159 sportwagon 2.4 litre. Lovely car but felt more corporate in it’s delivery than the fabulous 75.

  15. This was the only Alfa I've ever owned, nothing special, a 54 plate 1.7TD 159 Sportwagon Veloce.
It was a stopgap I brought for a laugh @4yrs ago whilst I was without a Discovery for a couple of months.

But despite being nothing special, it did have that certain something I can't explain to drive.
I'm determined to have another at some stage, it would have to be a Sportwagon 159, and hopefully a 3.2 Q4.
