I think (but don't know) women tend to get annoyed that their sexual organ is used as a derogatory description of a bad person. Mind you, it's complicated as people are often called "cocks" and I know of no men who would object to the word - they may object to be called a cock but that is just tough shit.
Interesting you say that I work on app development (of sorts) and one of our goals this year is to deploy a chat bot in our current product, which I'm completely against. To me they're the same as "internal" help desks that route your issue to the correct team after the 6th attempt. Question is what would you prefer as a user experience? (Taking digitalisation of the world into account etc...)
chat bots are ok for the menial ‘can I” stuff and work well ime. Also good for grabbing leads when selling online ‘we notice you left without clearing your basket’ stuff
